We want to share with you a little bit about one of our fantastic retailers Merric. We asked Chrissie the Store Manager a few questions:

Q. How long have you been working at Merric Papamoa?
A. 5 Months
A. What do you enjoy most about your job?
Q. Customer Service. I love personal assistance, I am a peoples person.
Q. What is great about having Merric located at Papamoa Plaza?
A. We can cater for the growth of Papamoa population as well as Rotorua, Whakatane, Tepuke and outer regions all come here to shop.
Q. What’s your favourite thing to do in the region when you're not working?
A. Love fishing and surfcasting or charter boat fishing. So much opportunity living here. I also love sewing, cooking and landscape designing.
Q. Where do you like to shop or eat at Papamoa Plaza?
A. All the food places available. I used to own and operate my own café so I am a bit of a foodie. I love trying different foods.
We asked Chrissie the Store Manager of Merric a few questions about her store:
Q. What’re your most popular garments at the moment?
A. With the seasonal change we have lots of bargains of “end of season stock” so great savings to be made there. Also new season warmer garments are in store now, so warmer tops and trousers, coats and jumpers to choose from.
Q. What makes Merric different from other fashion stores?
A. The owner designs and makes her personal collection for the store and listens to what customers are asking for. Feedback on products goes back to her and she will make the changes that customers suggest.
Q. What does a great in-store shopping experience for your customers look like?
A. They love personal attention, affordable prices and the accessories to go with their garments. Also they love to receive their $30 vouchers with our VIP rewards.
Q. What do you offer in-store that people might not know about?
A. We sell rings, necklaces, bangles, earrings, scarves and fascinators to go with purchases of our garments. Also a range of handbags.
Q. What would a typical Merric customer purchase from you?
A. Anything from casual wear to special occasion dresses.
